Overdraft Privilege Opt-In/Revoke
We do not approve debit card purchases and ATM cash withdrawals when you do not have sufficient available funds in your account. We created a new service called Overdraft Privilege which may help you when you are running low on funds. Here are the facts to help you decide whether Overdraft Privilege will meet your needs:
What does Overdraft Privilege do for me?
Should your account have insufficeint available funds and you happen to use your debit card, Overdraft Privilege is designed as a safety net to help cover the insufficient funds. This could save you the inconvenience and embarrassment of a denied transaction at the ATM, gas pump or check out lane. There is no additional cost for Overdraft Privilege unless you use it. And if you do, you'll just be charged our standard overdraft fee (please see Schedule of Fees).
You'll need to sign up for Overdraft Privilege and tell us that you wish to "opt-in" or agree to this coverage. If you do nothing, your debit card purchases and ATM cash withdrawals will be declined if you don't have enough available funds in your account. Regardless of your initial decision, you may change your mind at any time.
How do I "opt-in" or agree?
