Welcome Town Community Bank & Trust Customers!
On Friday, January 15, 2010, Town Community Bank & Trust was closed by the State of Illinois and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver. Certain deposits and loans were assumed by First American Bank of Illinois, and on Saturday, January 16, 2010, the branch reopened as First American Bank.
Other than the name change, it's business as usual. Please be assured that...
- Your accounts are safe! Your accounts are now First American Bank accounts and are covered under the FDIC Deposit Insurance program.
- You have access to all of your accounts through your normal channels - branch, ATM and online. The accounts are now simply part of First American Bank.
- Your branch office is still open or you may use any of the other 49 First American Bank locations (including Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, Gurnee and Round Lake).
